Sadie is an International performing artist, instructor and choreographer recognized worldwide as one of today’s most exciting and innovative Belly Dance artists. She is now featured in dozens of instructional and performance DVDs displaying her dynamic style of bellydance which has captivated audiences and inspired students around the globe.

As one of the most sought after performers and teachers of Belly Dance, Sadie has visited over 100 cities in more than 35 countries and is the most watched bellydancer on youtube with over 25 million hits on just one video clip alone.Sadie’s fans and colleagues have crowned her “The Queen of the Drum Solo”. Recently Sadie and her dance partner Kaya wowed the judges of “America’s Got Talent” and the American public all the way to the “Top 48″ out of 70,000 auditions on season 5 of the program. They are the only Bellydancers to make it that far on the American version of the show.

“Lights Out on the Bunny Brothers” features rod puppets, a costumed actor, and a 14 foot tall puppet representing Mother Nature. The main characters, Sunny, Funny, and Honey Bunny, are studying about conservation in school. But Sunny and Funny don’t learn their lesson until Honey tricks them into thinking they’ve wasted all the electricity and water in the world. The show ends with Sunny and Funny promising to do all they can to help save our electricity and water.

Children will learn about the 6 Rs – Reduce, Reuse, Recycle, Repair, Respect and Responsibility, how to conserve energy (electricity, water, etc.) , name natural resources,define “conservation” & Children will choose to conserve energy and natural resources as a result of experiencing a dramatic theatre presentation using puppets.

6 Sessions, 4/18 – 5/23 | Thurs 10:00am – 12:00pm

CAC Members: $110 | Non Members: $135

Enjoy a short hands-on course designed to allow participants to quickly gain experience and learn how to wedge, center, and throw clay into a cylinder for shaping bowls, cups, and vases.

*Tuition includes the first 20 lbs of clay and first firing. Participants should bring a basic pottery tool kit, a small bucket, sponge, and an old towel to class.
